Gatorade’s Monopoly

You may remember a while back that I wrote about Reebok’s Monopoly on the North American professional sports apparel world. Yesterday, PepsiCo (Gatorade, Aquafina, Lay’s) announced that they had reached an agreement with the NHL and the NHL Player’s Association to be the official ‘beverage, sports beverage, bottled water and snack’ provider for the NHL.
Redesign Progress Report

For anyone interested, the redesign of this site that’s in progress is coming along quite nicely. After a nice relaxing vacation in Cayo Coco, Cuba, I went back to my Photoshop file of the new design I’d been working on for a couple of weeks and decided throw out the idea completely.
On Thursday night I finally came up with a sketch of something I thought would really work well for what I’m trying to accomplish and when I started to transfer that idea from paper to screen, it all just started flowing together.
