CSS Tips

I’ve been thinking about this for the past few weeks now, and I’ve finally decided to move on it. I’m going to start a CSS Tips library that will be updated frequently and filled with tips and how-to walkthroughs of various CSS techniques.

These tips will probably start off at the beginner level and will progress in difficulty as they move forward. In honour of these new tips, a new category has been added to the Blog called CSS Tips, where all of the Tips will be filed.

Most of the time, I will discuss the techniques in detail and a sample page will be posted. Sometimes the tips themselves will be links to other websites or other articles from the web, and will include some ‘editorial’ comments.

The goal is to add one or two CSS Tips every week, as long as I have the time to sit down and write them up.

I’d like to respond to reader feedback about what you, the reader, would like to see in the tips, so if you have any ideas, questions or topics that you’d like to see covered, feel free to use the Contact form and send me a message.

Initial ideas that I have for some beginner type CSS Tips are:
- Font styling.
- Centering Content.
- Anchor (Hyperlink) Styling.
- Image Styling.
- CSS Positioning (basic).
- Margins, Padding & Borders.

Eventually, I’ll probably branch out into some other sections of tips. (PHP, ASP, JSP, JavaScript, etc.) I’ll also add a separate RSS feed for the CSS Tips section of the site, but that will come later.

Check back soon, or keep an eye on the RSS feed for this site, the first CSS Tip is coming soon.
